The hotel had lovely rooms around the edges, but some were noisy due to outside disturbances. Despite a misunderstanding during booking, the location was very convenient. The service was beyond helpful and friendly, although there were some difficulties in the morning. Overall, a mixed experience with pleasant elements and some inconveniences.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location is brilliant right in the city center, but the room needed updating and was smaller than expected. The service was a mixed bag with some staff being friendly and professional, while others lacked manners. The dining experience was enjoyable, but there were some unexpected extra charges. Overall, it was a stay with both positives and negatives.

The hotel had a brilliant location with lovely staff, but my stay wasn't without its issues. The rooms were extremely hot and uncomfortable with noisy seagulls disrupting sleep. Although the furniture had scuff marks and the room lacked ironing facilities, the overall experience didn't match the price paid. The location, however, offered fabulous views over the Tyne River and easy access to cafes, bars, and restaurants.

I had the most wonderful view from my room overlooking the Sage and Baltic Centres, and the Tyne and Millennium Bridges, all in one incredible vista. The room was comfortable, but it got too hot as there was no air conditioning, leading to noise from passing trains, roads, and partying outside. Despite the noise, the bridges' views were exceptional.

The hotel is conveniently situated next to the castle and within walking distance to a variety of bars and eateries. The rooms are well-appointed but relatively dimly lit, offering a tranquil view of the quiet railway track. The service was exceptional and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. The dining options were satisfactory, although service speed could be improved. The location is excellent for exploring the city center and convenient for accessing the metro.

Rooms
8.0
The room was furnished with a cozy two-seater couch and a sizable king-size bed with a beautiful headboard. Complimentary Ringtons teas and coffees were a nice touch. However, the lack of ceiling lights made the room quite dark, relying mainly on scattered lamps. Surprisingly peaceful ambiance despite overlooking the railway track.

The one-bedroom apartment was absolutely gorgeous, though the very hard mattress made it a bit uncomfortable. Despite the poor bedroom lighting and struggling with the thermostat, I prefer the room cool for a good night's sleep. The service from the front of the house staff to room service and housekeeping was excellent. The location couldn't be better for a city break, offering a central spot close to the Quayside and various attractions. The dining experience was in a light, airy restaurant with dishes cooked to order, but the food delivery could be improved. Overall, a stay with great value for money highlighted by the welcoming atmosphere and delicious food options.
